Job Description
We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Team Lead Cloud Engineer - Azure (German Speaking). This role is permanent position based in Zürich Canton & comes with good home office allowance.
Your Role:
• As a hands-on leader; build & lead a new Azure Cloud Platform Team in the area of Infrastructure.
• Hold responsibility for building, operating & further developing an Azure Platform & Application Landing Zones (DevOps).
• Actively support the migration & deployment of new applications based on Azure IaaS & PaaS Services.
• Promote close cooperation with internal teams, especially with regards to the operation of Windows & Linux Systems on Azure.
• Drive the further development of an Automation Stack based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & CI/CD pipelines.
• Support internal teams in relation to IaaS Cloud Solutions & Infrastructure Automation.
Your Skills:
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering including some experience in Leading or Technically Leading teams.
• At least 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud Services.
• Strong experienced in Developing & Implementation Infrastructure (IaaS) on Cloud Platforms.
• Skilled & experienced in the areas of Azure IaaS/PaaS Services, Automation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines, Software Development & Scripting Languages.
Your Profile:
• Completed University Degree in the area of Computer Science or similar.
• Enthusiastic to build & lead a new team & develop a strong team spirit.
• Self-motivated, communicative, confident & customer-orientated.
• Curious about new technologies & motivated to continuously learn & stay up to date.
• Fluent in English & very good German language skills (to at least B2 Level) are mandatory requirements.
