Job Description
We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Mechanical System Verification Specialist (Medical Device Sector). The role is a permanent position based in Solothurn Canton & comes with good home office allowance.

Your Role:

• Participate in product development & continuous improvement projects to enhance product performance & quality.
• Collaborate with various product stakeholders to understand customer needs & design specifications & subsequently convert these into detailed test specifications.
• Develop test cases (including methodology, setups, materials, procedures, requirements & acceptance criteria) to ensure compliance with product standards.
• Develop the necessary test equipment to accurately measure system performance.
• Oversee the commissioning & qualification of test equipment to ensure it meets all necessary standards & specifications.
• Create, optimize, introduce & validate new test methods to improve test efficiency & effectiveness.
• Prepare comprehensive test documentation, including test procedures & detailed step-by-step protocols.
• Perform & coordinate complex testing activities, support failure mode analysis, conduct root cause investigations & scout for new verification tools.

Your Skills:

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in System Verification & Mechanics.
• Skilled & experienced in Testing Mechanical Products.
• Strong expertise in Developing & Validating Test Methods & Equipment
• Ideally experienced with Matlab & CAD software (Siemens NX).
• Preferably experienced within Highly Regulated Industries.
• Any experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is considered a plus.

Your Profile:

• Completed University Degree in Medical Engineering, Mechanics, Microengineering, or Mechatronics (or similar).
• Analytical, logical, proactive & target-oriented with a can-do attitude.
• Strong communication skills & enthusiastic to share knowledge.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written), any German language skills are considered a plus.
