Job Description
E2E Network Performance Engineer Radio.
As part of a team of engineers, you role will be to:
Automate radio processes and tools.
Drive test and log processing platform owner.
Process and analyze UE, radio and core network traces - mass and case-by-case
Testing tools configuration and management to get required KPIs/KQIs and analysis for voice and data services
Finding service performance anomalies, provide actionable insights, give direction, involve appropriate domain experts and support root cause analysis and solution definition
Troubleshoot and fix complex multivendor E2E network issues
E2E mobile network performance KPIs/KQIs monitoring, reporting and analysis to identify issues, opportunities and drive improvements
Impact analysis, before-after network changes and incidents
Liaise with vendors, RF, RAN, transport/IP and CN team mates on network quality improvement matters
Contribute to improve results in Connect yearly benchmarks

Degree in telecommunications or equivalent
Good knowledge in mobile radio network with at least 2 years' experience in radio network optimisation 3G, 4G and 5G. Rootcause finding via call trace analysis
You understand databases. The geek inside yourself wants to automate as much as possible. You are not afraid of coding and learning
Good command of programming languages and SW environment for databases, automation and statistical analysis like SQL, Java, Python, Spark, R or similar
Knowledge in data engineering - databases and data ingestion
Knowledge in using AI/ML for Prediction and Anomaly Detection
Experience with network KPIs and KQIs analysis and improvement actions
Robot framework, Jenkins experience
Good knowledge of wireshark and standard Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP)
Knowledge of E2E voice and data callflows (CS & IMS & Radio) is a bonus
Knowledge of 3GPP protocols: Core network CS, PS and IMS domains eg SS7, MAP, GTP, Diameter, SIP/RTP/RTCP etc. is a bonus
Knowledge of radio drive testing tools including post-processing and automation is a bonus. You know how to configure them and operate them. You will be providing support to our drive testing and optimisation teams as tool owner
Experience with other radio and E2E tools is a bonus eg geolocation tools and call tracing tools. Experience with TEMS ecosystem is a plus
You have intuition to direct the investigation towards the root cause of the problem rather than investigating side effects
Good analytical and abstract thinking skills: Able to find innovative solutions to complex problems. Team worker. Willing to make a contribution and to make a difference. Does not give up until the issue is fixed
Self-learner, Self-driven, Self-motivated.
Very good presentation & communication.
